PlanScore provides an assessment based on data, trends, and comparable decisions, but it can’t guarantee outcomes. A high score means your project aligns well with typical approval patterns and planning policy – it’s a positive indicator, not a promise.
Council decisions can be influenced by factors outside of what’s visible in the data, such as local objections, political context, or site-specific issues that emerge during the planning process. Our aim is to give you the best possible insight before submission, but ultimately, planning outcomes involve an element of subjectivity and discretion.
We’re always working to improve our models, and if your experience highlights something we missed, we’d love to hear about it.
